It’s been an unspoken rule of mine for a while, but after weeks of emails I can’t read because some genius in marketing decided that ‘all image’ emails is a good idea, I’m chiselling this one in stone:
Never enable images to read the content of an email. It’s just click bait to bolster their fatuous marketing team’s KPIs. Text first, then I’ll decide if you are worthy of my read statistic.
